Time Frame of Program - Associate in Applied Science Degree

For RN students the program is designed to be completed in 2 years (4 semesters). LPN →RN students who are exempt from Nursing Basics can complete in 18 months (3 semesters). Both RN & LPN →RN students may be candidates for Fast Track. Successful completion of Fast Track can result in earlier completion of the program.

Day Theory Section
Designed for a full time student who is expected to manage a full course of study. Generally theory classes are held 2 day per week, 4-5 hours each. Clinical practice experiences are 2 days per week, generally held between the hours of 7:00A.M. and 4:00P.M.

Evening Theory Section
Designed for those students who prefer or have need for a program of evening studies. Theory classes are generally 2 days a week, beginning at 5:30P.M. and ending by 11:00 P.M. Clinical practice hours are 5:30 P.M. – 11:30 P.M., two days a week, with some daytime and weekend hours as needed.
